In this website I share photographs that I have captured during the course of the last fifty years. Because they are organized by subject, older images that were captured on various film emulsions are displayed next to images from the latest digital cameras. Since the numbers of some featured species and environments have plummeted to near extinction as image quality from cameras has zoomed toward perfection, I am fortunate to have the film. I am more fortunate to have had the associated experiences, which are increasingly rare now.
The photographs come from Australia, Malaysia, and North America. They are organized into five small galleries: Terrain, Water, Trees, Birds, and Mammals. To view details, all images are expandable to a maximal size appropriate for the device in use.
The images here are heavily curated selection of roughly 50 from a lifetime's work. Some of them also appear on my original site, dmcPhoto.com. Those displayed are completely reprocessed to the best of my ability and are available to display at higher resolutions.
As a proud member of Nature First, I adheres to its principles of responsible nature photography. Even if you only take a few snapshots occasionally, I hope you will too.
